Welcome to Claremore Oklahoma!
We're situated just a few minutes away from Tulsa, a major
metro area in Oklahoma.
Claremore is the county seat of Rogers County and is the
home of the Rogers State University, which is the only
public four year college in the Tulsa area.

One of our
native sons, of whom we are most proud, Will Rogers, was
a cowboy humorist, philanthropist and lends his name to
many streets and buildings within the city. |
The City of Claremore covers about 15 square miles, and has
a population of about 17,000, so we aren't the largest in
the area, but we are the community with the most heart and
soul.
Claremore is the town where the stranger will smile and wave
and stop to pass the time with a stranger. It's the town
where you will feel safe, and where everyone notices if you
need a helping hand.
